The toys are back as Toy Story 3 returns to the big screen this weekend. Toy Story 3 will be joined by Jonah Hex as the newest big budget releases to open this weekend. Toy Story 3 and Jonah Hex beef up a selection of movies that are bound to satisfy audiences of all genres across the movie board.

Toy Story 3 - The toys are back in town! Toy Story 3 opens this weekend marking the long awaited return of Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the crew. Andy is all grown up now and ready for college. No longer in need of his toys, Andy donates his toys and leaves his friends behind. The toys need to adapt to their new environment and their new owners who aren’t as gentle as their old pal Andy used to be. Can the toys survive in their new habitat? Can Andy survive without his toys? Find out this weekend when Toy Story 3 opens nationwide.

Jonah Hex - Josh Brolin and Megan Fox star in this movie about the DC Comics character. Jonah Hex has one thing on his mind and that is revenge. Thinks Jack Bauer in the west and you have Jonah Hex. I never read the comic but the Jonah Hex trailers all look great. Obviously the idea here is to create a franchise so barring a disappointing run in theaters I’d look for more Jonah Hex movies down the road. Josh Brolin looks pretty darn awesome and anytime I get to watch Megan Fox carry around a gun I’m in.

Cyrus - Cyrus looks like one of the more interesting movies of the weekend. Marisa Tomei, Jonah Hill, Catherine Keener, and John C. Reilly round out a solid cast for Cyrus. Cyrus seems like a cross between “Single White Female” and “Step Brothers.” Cyrus (John C. Reilly) falls in love with the girl of his dreams (Marisa Tomei). She is beautiful, sexy, funny, and almost too good to be true. The catch is her grown son (Jonah Hill) is a bit psychopathic and doesn’t like Cyrus. Cyrus tries to make it work but an oblivious Molly (Tomei) is stunned when he tells her about her crazy son. This looks like a great movie. Reilly and Hill have tremendous chemistry together and it is nice to see Jonah Hill branch out a bit. I am putting this one on the must-see list and so should you.

The Killer Inside Me - This looks like it could be the best movie opening this weekend that you’ve never heard of. The Killer Inside Me stars Casey Affleck as a sheriff deputy gone sociopath. Stanley Kubrick called the movie, “the most chilling and believable first person story of a criminally warped mind I have ever encountered.” Kate Hudson and Jessica Alba contribute to a very stellar cast for this movie. The Killer Inside Me looks great and has enormous potential post-movies on cable and through DVD sales. You owe it to yourself to check out The Killer Inside Me trailer before you make any movie decisions this weekend.
